Ironman 70.3 Los Cabos Taking Place On 4th Of November

Los Cabos, Baja California Sur (BCS). This November 4 will be held the triathlon Ironman 70.3 Los Cabos, competition in which athletes from different countries will participate, announced the head of the Ministry of Tourism, Economy and Sustainability (Setues), Luis Humberto Araiza López.

Due to the event, he explained, the arrival of more than 1,200 competitors and more than 7,000 visitors is expected, which will benefit the hotel, transport and restaurant sector, leaving an approximate spill of 90 million pesos.

On this occasion, the Ironman will be a total of 70.3 miles, starting with the swimming stage at Palmilla beach, traveling 1.9 kilometers; They will continue 90 kilometers by bicycle and finish with 21 kilometers running.

The goal of the competition will be the Las Palmas Fonatur park, on San José Boulevard, the state official added.
“The quality of the infrastructure and excellent tourist services, coupled with the great natural beauty of Los Cabos, make it the perfect setting for international events,” said Araiza López.

Finally, the state secretary of Tourism said that the consolidation of the port in global markets will continue, with the work of the Tourism Trust of Los Cabos (Fiturca).
