Grupo “Vidanta” Incorporates “Hakkasan Group” In Their Resort in Los Cabos

In conjunction with the reference for excellence in terms of gastronomy and entertainment, Hakkasan Group, and in its constant quest to inspire and create the best travel experiences, Grupo Vidanta will incorporate four impressive concepts into its luxury offer at the Vidanta Los Cabos resort, that will merge seamlessly with the exciting design and exuberant architecture that the complex currently possesses.

With the aim of enhancing the attraction of tourists from around the world, Vidanta Los Cabos will be one of the most coveted and prestigious destinations in the country. Surrounded by dramatic natural views, the experience will start from the moment visitors enter the entrance and walk through the amazing central corridor that will take them in, not only to the best services in terms of luxury and hospitality, but to an extraordinary range of innovative entertainment options, all in one place.

From its crystalline water pools, a 9-hole golf course, bars and restaurants, to a Gourmet Market; Now OMNIA Dayclub, Herringbone, SHOREbar and an unprecedented restaurant concept, Casa Calavera, will mark a new chapter for this luxurious destination in San José del Cabo, and a milestone in the tourist offer throughout the country.

OMNIA DAYCLUB
The flagship concept of Hakkasan Group, OMNIA Nightclub, first opened in Las Vegas in 2015 and quickly established its reputation as one of the best nightclubs in the world. Vidanta Los Cabos will be the perfect venue to open OMNIA with a renewed concept of dayclub (day club), an experience never before seen in the country. Located in front of the beach, OMNIA Dayclub will be around a central pool with a series of VIP areas, including private cabins and a couple of two-story bungalows with exclusive immersive infinity pools. With a list of talented DJs worldwide, OMNIA Dayclub will establish a new standard of service and entertainment in Mexico.

HERRINGBONE
For Herringbone, a restaurant brand originating in La Jolla, California and conceptualized by Chef Brian Malarkey, Vidanta Los Cabos will be the first international venue and will offer coastal cuisine with an emphasis on fresh seafood and high quality meat. Reimagined especially for its launch in Mexico, with an air of a Mexican beach house overlooking the sea over the resort’s swimming pools, Herringbone will include some of the firm’s flagship design elements, such as living trees and lush vegetation, as well as works by art and maritime accessories.

CASA CALAVERA
A completely new culinary concept developed by Hakkasan Group, Casa Calavera, will be incorporated into the already sumptuous tourist offer in Vidanta Los Cabos. As the first world headquarters of this concept, Casa Calavera will reflect its location in Los Cabos in the open air, with a feeling of “feet in the sand”; while its interiors, inspired by the traditional Mexican art of skulls and a central theme of Día de Muertos, will include pieces of authentic Mexican furniture. All this, together with the impressive lighting, will allude to the local culture with a wide variety of architectural finishes, from hand-painted tiles to pebbles and stacked stones. Next to OMNIA Dayclub, Casa Calavera will share the atmosphere, sounds and energy of the club, while offering a menu of popular Mexican dishes and drinks.

SHOREBAR
Located under a striking curved thatch roof and overlooking one of the main crystalline water pools of Vidanta Los Cabos, SHOREbar will be located outdoors and will offer handmade cocktails. In addition to a privileged view of the sea and its own swimming pool, its design will include clusters of hanging lights on living rooms and wooden tables, with subtle industrial details and blue carpets and upholstery. This original concept will also incorporate a classic Airstream trailer parked inside its facilities, which will offer a small menu of light sandwiches and dishes to share.

“These four exceptional concepts, unmatched in Mexico, will undoubtedly have a great impact on both national and international tourism, generating a growth of visitors in the destination and an important economic impact for the region,” said Iván Chávez, Executive Vice President of Grupo Vidanta “The most important result of this partnership will be the increase of tourism in the destination, our goal as a Group is to make Mexico a very attractive country, take it to another level in the tourism sector, detonating the industry to levels never seen before. convinced that the tourist who comes to Mexico is looking for more than sun and beach, is looking for quality, entertainment and fun, we are working to offer the best in each of those areas, “he concluded.

Vidanta Los Cabos is located in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico, a recognized destination for enjoying more than 350 sunny days a year. Located about 20 minutes from the San Jose del Cabo airport, access to the resort is very easy from several cities in Mexico and the United States.
